About Us

Kick Start Poets is an independent group of poets, founded in 1997, sponsored by The Arts Council of England, Southwest.

Regular meetings are normally on the third Thursday of every month at Sarum College in Salisbury Cathedral Close. Non-members are welcome at all regular meetings.

Less formal gatherings devoted to close textual scrutiny of new work are held on the first Monday of every month and are not open to non-members.

Our membership fee is £15.00 a year.
